The Grange is a rural community and fraternal organization with about 4,000 chapters nationwide. Founded in 1867, its special interest is agriculture, but it also supports local community social functions and donates to charities.

Meyersville Grange #188 was formed in 1925. It is the last Grange left in Morris County and one of only a few in New Jersey.

The Soup and Pasta Contest is held the second Friday of each month at 6:30 PM.  Admission is $7.00 for adults and $2.00 for children 12 and under. Admission is free to any entrant who brings a favorite soup or pasta dish. It is a"Contest" because each person who attends gets to vote for his or her favorite soups and the top five soup makers receive prizes.

There is a Square Dance at 8:00 PM after every Soup Contest. The dance is for beginners as instruction is provided. Home made desserts and coffee and refreshments are available.

Most months, live music is provided by The Long Hill String Band (pending band members' availability) .  Contact the Band to confirm.  Recorded music by the Band at other times!
